Precise processing with minimal distortion

We build on the ZPS hardening shop (1997). Parts are processed on modern lines with a controlled protective atmosphere and process recording. We set up every order according to the material and the required properties, and we measure hardness as standard (Rockwell, Vickers, Brinell). By agreement, we also prepare metallographic sections. We offer pick-up and delivery of orders and short lead times.

We provide heat treatment and thermochemical processes for everything from single parts to series production. We process parts to achieve the required hardness, microstructure and dimensional stability.

  • Vibratory finishing/black oxide finishing, sub-zero treatment to −75 °C, blasting, straightening

Quality and certification

Our process

We work in accordance with ISO 9001. Every process is documented, and delivery can include Rockwell, Vickers and Brinell hardness test reports and metallographic sections with digital documentation. For dimensional stability we use quenching in an AS 140 salt bath and controlled cooling.
